OnCue, in partnership with its customers, raised $20,564 for schools, benefiting 24 public school districts in Oklahoma and Texas. Between July and September, 50 cents from every specialty fountain cup sold was donated to the local school district of each participating store.
As a result, the Moore and Norman districts received $1,829 and $1,294, respectively.
“Supporting local schools is one of our greatest privileges at OnCue,” said Laura Aufleger, president of OnCue. “We know that every dollar counts toward shaping the future of our communities, and it’s inspiring to see customers join us in our mission to uplift and encourage students across the state.”
OnCue began offering limited-time cups in 2018 in response to the teacher walkout in hopes of encouraging schools to continue providing essential education to Oklahoma’s youth. Since the program launched six years ago, it has raised $145,000 for public education. Of that total, Moore customers have contributed $12,602, while Norman customers have donated $8,021 to their local schools.
