OnCue raised over $10,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates programs across Oklahoma through the sale of limited-edition co-branded cups. For every cup sold, OnCue contributed 50 cents to each store’s local CASA program.
CASA programs recruit, train, and support community volunteers that advocate for safe, permanent homes for the over 9,000 children in foster care in Oklahoma. CASA volunteers are non-paid adults who are appointed by judges to advocate for foster children’s best interests and remain with the child until a safe, permanent home is found. They are a consistent adult presence during what can be a traumatic time for a child.
OnCue operates stores in a number of CASA program service areas, each of which is a recipient of the funds raised. The cups were available January through March. The fundraiser was concluded with a live video conference celebration.
