OnCue Partners with Special Olympics Oklahoma for Limited-Edition Cup

Apr 1, 2020

OnCue is partnering with Special Olympics Oklahoma to release a limited-edition cup that will raise funds to support the 12,000 Special Olympics athletes throughout the state. For every cup sold, OnCue will contribute 50 cents to Special Olympics Oklahoma.

The organization recently announced the cancellation of the Summer Games and other upcoming events due to ongoing community health concerns. However, Special Olympics Oklahoma works to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The program continues to give its athletes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.

“We appreciate OnCue thinking of Special Olympics Oklahoma during these difficult times,” said Derek Cain, vice president of development and marketing for Special Olympics Oklahoma. “It’s amazing to see corporate partners continuing their community efforts.”

OnCue began its fundraiser cup program in 2017, and it has since raised over $100,000 for partnering non-profit organizations.

“Growing up in Stillwater where the Summer Games have been held for years, I know how truly amazing it is to be a part of,” said Laura Aufleger, President of OnCue. “We’re excited to support these athletes and special events throughout this year and beyond with the funds raised and see the joy that it brings to so many.”

The cup retails for $1.99 and is available now through June, or as long as supplies last. For more information on Special Olympics Oklahoma, visit www.sook.org.
