They don’t hand out awards for being the first to pump 3 million gasoline gallon equivalents of CNG.  But if they did, OnCue Express would have won one in 2012.  In November of that year, the Stillwater, Oklahoma-based operator of 41 convenience stores sold its three millionth GGE of CNG, more sold than by any other private non-utility CNG retailer in the Sooner State.

“I’ve been a believer in CNG for more than a decade, and dispensing our three millionth GGE of CNG showed just how mainstream CNG had become,” says the company’s CEO Jim Griffith.  He adds, “We’re well on our way to our next three millionth GGE.  We now dispense CNG to our customers at 14 of our stores and are in the process of adding CNG fueling at three to five additional stores per year.  With these and new stores we’ll be building, the number of OnCue stations dispensing CNG will grow by about 10 locations in each of the next few years.”
