Gasoline falls to $2 in OKC

Gasoline fell to $2 a gallon at a South Oklahoma City OnCue Express station on Wednesday.

However, a company official said the price was temporary.

GasBuddy.com said Wednesday an OnCue Express in Oklahoma City dropped its price 12 cents to $1.99 a gallon, becoming the first U.S. station to charge less than $2 a gallon since July 2010.

$2 gasoline is back in the U.S.

Drivers in Oklahoma can now buy gas for just $1.99 per gallon. 

The OnCue Express in Oklahoma City dropped its gas price by 12 cents to $1.99 per gallon on Wednesday, making it the cheapest gas station in the country, according to GasBuddy. 

It’s the first time in four years that a U.S. station has offered gas for less than $2 per gallon.
